Oh, How (un)Pinteresting!

Soooo the new format for Pinterest is driving me nuts and won't let me embed anything.  Or share.  Or e-mail.  I can't figure out if it is a Mozilla Firefox thing, a my computer thing, or what????  Is anyone else having this problem???   This is why I have nothing Pinteresting to post today, this lovely Wednesday Pins-Day.  Sad.  :(   I hope you all are having a great week! :)  Back to blogging and linking up after our move in a week.  Hopefully I will be less stressed about everything and be able to woosah a little soon!! xoxo

Monday Ramblings...

Wow, I didn't realize it had been so long since I last posted!  In between packing up the apartment for our move later this month and work and birthdays, I have been really busy and super tired.  And I really don't have an organized thought for this post...so roll with me.  I'm just going to ramble...   1)  I just think my nieces and nephews are the cutest things alive .  They can throw a huge fit, drool all over me, or coo and smile at me - just about anything - and I eat it up!  Love it.   2)  I had my feelings really hurt this weekend.  I won't go into much detail, but I just want to say - it really sucks to be left out and feel all alone in a group you have been in a part of for a while.  It might seem silly to some, but we all have things that make us feel insufficient, right?  This was mine.   3)  I am getting slightly anxoius about our impending move....

I Really Need To...

...drink more water . ...go to sleep earlier. ...go "shopping" in my own closet more often. ...take shorter showers.  {Where does the time go in the mornings?!} ...drive a little slower on pretty days and take in the view. ...learn to say " No ".  ...play with my camera.  It's really nice - I have got to learn to use it! ... always be supportive of hubs. ...listen more, worry less . ...be gracious .  Source: katespadeny.tumblr.com via Jordan on Pinterest

Ok, I'm Impressed!

I don't really have much too much to say in this post.  I love musicals, especially Phantom of the Opera and, most recently, Les Mis.  I litsen to the sound tracks in my car, at work...basically wherever.  They are classics and the music is so moving!  ( nerd alert ) I found this guy, Nick Pitera, online last night.  He does not know I am posting him on my blog, and I am not endorsing him.  But - - WOW - -he's good.  He sings all the parts (or most of the parts) from the songs and mashes them together.  Watch the first few minutes even if you don't love musicals...you will be impressed!  I'm posting 3 of his videos.  They are all pretty lengthy (8+ minutes), but I think they are worth it!  (See, I told you I love the music!!) Enjoy!! This is the Les Mis video. This is the Pantom of the Opera video.   This is the One Man Disney Movie video. Did you watch them?!  What did you think? ...

Weekend Round-Up

Just a quick weekend round-up!  I went to pick Hubby up at the airport on Friday evening.  I took LB with me...she was very excited when he got in the car - haha.  She ran right into his lap before he was seated all the way.  Needless to say, we were both happy he was back home after a week away. On Saturday, we attended a long-time friend's wedding.  It was gorgeous, and sadly the only pic I have from it is blurry.  Darn!  I never get a good pic of us when we are both dressed up! And on Sunday, it was my SIL's birthday, and Joanna, our niece, got her Bible presented to her in church. 1) LB riding in the car to the airport! 2) SO stoked to see dad...all over him haha 3) My hott date to the wedding :) 4) Dr. Young giving out Bibles to the bebes. 5) Joanna sitting pretty at lunch Aaannnd, that's about it!  A weekend full of activities and family.  Now, it's time to watch the Oscars and check out some fashion!  Hope...

Friday's Letters

Woohoo!  Happy Friday !  Let's get these letters started, shall we? Dear Go Texan Day:   I am happy you are here!  Getting to wear my cowboy boots to work really makes me happy...and makes me wish I wore them more often.  You make me want to say "Howdy" and "Yeehaw" all the time, but most importantly you are ushering in the RODEO!!!  Best time of year in H-town.  Yeehaw! ( sorry, had to! ) Dear Hubby:   You come back in to town tonight!  LB and I are very excited you will be back - the bed has been cold all week .  Not cool. Dear Furniture Fixing DIY:   I am not finished with you yet, but so far I am totally kicking your butt!  I will post pictures once I complete the fix...but I am happy with you so far.  You are really making me feel good - confidence boosting at its finest. Dear Blog:   I know, I know.  All I have done recently is link-ups.  I'm just not interesting slash don't have anyth...

Oh, How Pinteresting!

Source: someecards.com via Jordan on Pinterest Okay, Okay...so maybe I'm not dying, but I kinda feel like it.  Plus, I thought this graphic was hilarious - and true!  Web MD gets me every time!  In reality, I am just suffering from a pestery little infection.  The antibiotics I am on are making me dizzy and nauseous...and to make it worse, hubby is traveling for work this week, and LadyBug is not a very good nurse.  *sigh*  ( Pity Party over. ) That said, I'm a little late to the pinning party today, but I'm linking up with The Vintage Apple for OHP!  Let's look at some humorous e-cards...afterall, laughter is the best medicine, right?   Source: tumblr.com via Jordan on Pinterest Source: klarity.tumblr.com via Jordan on Pinterest Source: someecards.com via Jordan on Pinterest Source: someecards.com via Jordan on Pinterest Source: someecards.com via Jordan on Pinterest ...
