Comfort Food

Hi again! Is it cold/cool where you are?  Our 'fall' is 80* today, maybe in the 70's soon - t-shirt and yoga pants attire.  We did have a few cooler days last week, but it has since warmed up.  Currently, I'm sick with a sinus infection/bronchitis ( whomp, whomp ) so my appetite is not great, but it's times like these that I just really want some comfort food.  I'm not normally a huge fan of soup, but my throat was just begging me for some good ole chicken noodle.  We really love this recipe ( well, the baby isn't so sure about it ), so I thought I would share it!  It's yummy and easy ( thank you, crockpot! ).  I serve it with sweet yellow cornbread :) Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup Ingredients 2 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, halved 5 Carrots, peeled and sliced (I use frozen, pre-chopped) 5 Celery stalks, sliced (I use about 4) 1 Onion, chopped (I use frozen, pre-chopped) 2 ...

Pumpkin Patch

HI!!! My baby is almost 11 months old - what?!?  We have been very busy over here with welcoming, adjusting to, and entertaining Mr. Cutie.  I hope to give a quick blog on his arrival into this great big world soon...but who knows.  I haven't written in almost 1 year ( oops! ), so it might take me a while to get back into the groove.  I still also need to give a renovation update including: Master Bathroom, Hall Bathroom, Guest Room, Play Room...sheesh.  I will get to that one day.  For now, Pumpkin Patch!
