I hope everyone had a great day celebrating Easter and the resurrection of our Lord!  We usually would all go to my mom and dad's house and have a nice lunch, but this year after church, we did something a little different and went to our family ranch - Five Oaks Ranch.  We had a nice pot-luck picnic.  The weather was great - mid 70's and slightly windy - so it wasn't too hot! After our lunch, the grands had a little easter egg hunt ( of which I have no pics, oops! ) and then we  went by the oak tree that we named the place after, our Five Oaks tree, and took some family pictures.  See below!   W and I headed to Easter service. Hello all! I know.  2 posts in 2 weeks after a dry spell.  I'm gearing up to get back into the blogging in the new year, and it's always great to share holiday photos.  I hope everyone had a great Christmas!  We had 2 Christmas celebrations this year because of traveling family.  Enjoy some pics of my adorable nieces and nephew - we had fun showering them with gifts and watching them play.   green bean casserole is the best!  get in my belly! Right now I dig / love / need / enjoy... ... the sunshine - it comes directly through my window at work in the afternoon for about 2 hours, and that makes me happy. ... sweet tea - I am southern, so this comes as naturally as saying "y'all" and "fixin' to".  I had some Chik-Fil-A tea for lunch today, a welcome treat! ... lighter traffic - a lot of people are taking off this week because of the holidays, and that is making my commute better!  Thank you, peeps, for being off the road, you are greatly helping my road rage. ... Christmas lights - don't they just make you smile!?  LOVE them!  we only have them on our (teeny tiny) tree, but I still love them!  (iPhone pic, sorry!) ... house-hunting - well, sort of.  I love looking on HAR.com and Zillow.com dreaming of having a house of our very own!  (soon!) ... morning walks with LB - normally, I hate these because they ruin my hair (such a girl, right?), but now that the weather is cooler ...
